Flow Assurance

Water Treatment

Although OPW is an inevitable byproduct of petroleum extraction, treatment selections will cover dissolved organic compounds, dissolved minerals and heavy metals, produced solids, treatment chemicals, oil and grease, and any dissolved gases.

This translates into the need for various biocide chemistries or for applying the concept of combined treatments (synergistic blends). Tracking the produced fluids from any well in terms of residual active (specially designed field methods) versus ATP levels can help demonstrate the suitability of any biocide under typical field conditions.
